Jordin Sparks Attends ESSENCE Luncheon, Talks Whitney Houston

Making the most of her afternoon, Jordin Sparks was spotted at the 5th Annual ESSENCE Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon yesterday (February 23).

The ?American Idol? alum looked beautiful as she arrived at the Beverly Hills Hotel sporting a black dress and matching heels.

In a recent interview, Jordin discussed the loss of her ?Sparkle? costar Whitney Houston and how she?s been handling it.

"It comes in waves. I'm definitely trying to process it a little bit. I'm really glad I got to work with her. It was a gift that I got to know her."
