With the stars gathering together for a swanky night in Italy, the 2011 GUCCI Awards For Women took place in Venice on Friday night (September 2).
Held at the Hotel Cipriani's cinema, big names such as Gucci-clad ladies Madonna and Abbie Cornish were among those partaking in the annual Venice Film Festival tribute.
Also in attendance were Salma Hayek and Francois Henri-Pinault, as well as actress Evan Rachel Wood and actor James Franco.
During the festivities, a few awards were passed out to deserving candidates, with Madonna taking the podium at one point to bestow the trophy for Outstanding Artistic Achievement to the lovely Jessica Chastain.
